After applying for funding the District Foundation Team received by return of an email $25,000 from the Rotary Foundation under the Disaster Assistance scheme.

Clubs can apply for direct assistance from the District to assist with the settlement of Ukrainian refugees in their area. This can be for items such as clothing, pushchairs, hygiene products. The grant will be sent, after a valid application, on a “1st come 1st served” basis. Over time Clubs can apply more than once.
